Exploring Coffee Shops Around the World
When blogging about my travels, I started to notice a trend: in each city, I would search out coffee shops to try. I really like coffee, but it's more than that. Coffee shops are a great way to feel out the pulse of a city and to interact with locals. Most recently, in Quebec City, we chatted with the baristas and learned about the province's education system. In Montreal, we were able to ask about protests that were going on in the city (in response to proposed austerity measures). We've gotten recommendations about places to eat and things to do in that city. And, we've been able to try some really great cups of coffee!
